In the floriculture industry, speed, presentation, and efficiency are of the utmost importance. The customer processed large numbers of potted flower arrangements every day, which were labeled by hand. This process was not only time-consuming but also placed a physical strain on employees and increased the risk of errors or crooked labels.
In addition, production capacity needed to be increased without compromising the quality or appearance of the final product.
The request to Tegra Systems was clear: How can we automate the labeling process, increase capacity, and simultaneously improve ergonomics on the shop floor?
The solution: the ROXISYS under-labeling machine
Tegra Systems developed a custom labeling solution for this purpose that could be fully integrated into the existing production line. The solution, called the ROXISYS, combines high-quality machine construction with precise labeling technology.
The machine consists of, among other things:
- A stainless steel frame developed entirely in-house
- Precision conveyor belts for stable product throughput
- An integrated CAB ROXI label dispenser
- An automatic under-labeling system for flower pots
The machine automatically applies labels to the bottom of the jars as they move along the conveyor belt. This keeps the products in constant motion and eliminates the need for manual labeling. Thanks to precise positioning, labels are applied exactly in the same spot every time.

With the implementation of ROXISYS, the customer has achieved significant efficiency gains in the packaging process.
Higher processing speed
Whereas labeling used to be done manually, this process is now fully automated. This allows the line to run at a constant speed and makes it easier to handle peak periods.

Since employees no longer have to manually lift or turn jars, the physical strain has been significantly reduced. Employees can now be assigned to tasks where they add more value.
