iDimension® Plus

iDimension® Plus is the ideal solution for speeding up the workflow in intralogistics processes.

The iDimension® Plus is designed to quickly and accurately measure the volume of packages, envelopes and objects handled by hand, sharing the data in real time with the company's computer system.

It can measure any package or object, even those without packaging, in less than a second, displaying the data and images on the 7-inch touch screen display provided. With iDimension® Plus the operator has everything under control.

DIMENSIONING FEATURES

• Dimensions: see table;
• ATTENTION: the minimum and maximum reading measurements may vary according to the installation, the type of scale and the type of use (approved or for internal use).
• Reading accuracy:
  • +/- 5 mm for cartons/boxes
  • +/- 10 mm for irregular, shaped packages, bags and irregular shapes, using automatic detection
• Measurement time: real time detection (0.2 seconds)

TECHNICAL FEATURES

• 7-inch colour touchscreen display for real-time display of measured values and camera image. Also useful for keeping the measurement area under control at all times.

TOP-OF-THE-LINE CAMERAS AND SENSORS

iDimension® Plus combines the highest quality 3D imaging technologies with specific algorithms specially developed by Rice Lake to quickly and accurately read the dimensions of any object, even irregularly shaped ones.

This feature makes iDimension® Plus the fastest static dimensioning system in its class.

These technologies also allow iDimension® Plus to read accurately without requiring special attention during positioning: this feature results in process optimisation and a considerable increase in shipments.

Thanks to the camera, iDimension® Plus records an aerial image of the measured object to ensure complete traceability, which is indispensable during disputes over damaged parcels. Available in "4K" version for high resolution colour images (2880 x 2160 pixels).

Through XML API integration, the image can be shared with the company's IT system, in .bmp or .jpg format.

CONNECTABLE SCALES

iDimension® Plus can be connected to the Dini Argeo RLT-200 and 3590 Touch Screen weight indicators series to add the weight data to the volume data. The measuring and weighing station can also be equipped with printer or labeller and bar code reader.

Note: the 3590 Touch Screen require a specific program to communicate with iDimension® Plus (AF-DIM). See scheme below (accessory tables area) for more details.

Alternatively, it is possible to connect the Rice Lake Bench Pro compact scale, for internal factory use, available in basic version or with idle or ball roller conveyor.
